What Michigan requires
Michigan requires more than an online course.
Michigan's current rules require an approved program or at least 40 hours of relevant training for limited diagnostic radiographers. The training must include didactic and clinical components, follow a competency-based approach, cover required subjects and procedures, and provide proof of completion.
Practices relying on conditional qualification have until March 13, 2027 to move affected operators to an appropriate qualification pathway.

Who provides clinical supervision?+
Your practice assigns a physician or licensed X-ray technologist who works directly with your operators to oversee clinical practice and assess competency. Medraki supports that process with image submissions, quality checklists, and documented sign-offs.

What's included in the Training Records?+
Training Records bring together each operator's completed learning, documented clinical competency, and supervisor attestations. Your organization retains these records even after an employee leaves, and can download them for internal review or to support an audit.
Why is Medraki an annual subscription?+
Medraki supports ongoing learning, clinical competency assessment, and training documentation for your team. Required continuing education will also be included when available.
If an operator leaves, you can reassign their paid seat to another staff member for the remainder of the subscription term. Your organization retains the departing operator's Training Records.
Does Medraki offer continuing education?+
Continuing-education modules and tracking are coming soon. They are not included in the current offering.
